An end-to-end bite, also known as an edge-to-edge bite, occurs when the upper and lower front teeth, as well as the molars' cusps, directly meet without overlapping. Ideally, the cusps should interlock with a slight overlap of the upper teeth. In cases of an end-to-end bite, which is a type of crossbite, this alignment is disrupted, leading to potential functional and aesthetic issues.
